In the third quarter of 2024, the music and podcasts category on the Android platform in Turkey saw varied performances among the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps exhibited unique trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $38K in the final week of September. Weekly downloads saw a general decline from 92K in early July to around 64K by the end of September. However, weekly active users experienced growth, ending the quarter at approximately 6.5M.

LMR - Copyleft Music experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, hovering between $1.3K and $1.7K. The app's downloads were highest in mid-July with around 245K and fluctuated around 135K to 164K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained largely stable, closing the quarter at approximately 11.3M.

fizy - Music & Podcast saw a decline in weekly revenue from about $1.7K in mid-July to $1.2K by the end of September. Its downloads followed a declining trend, starting at 31K in early July and dropping to about 13K by the end of the quarter. Active users also decreased from 182K in early July to around 150K at the quarter's close.

Apple Music experienced a modest increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1K in September. Downloads spiked in late August with 33K before settling around 5K to 6K. Active users saw a notable rise in August, reaching about 97K, before declining to approximately 73K by the end of September.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player had steady weekly revenue, averaging around $800. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, ranging from 800 to 2.3K. The app's active users gradually decreased, ending the quarter at around 18K.
